It's June, and it's PRIDE! Directed and produced by two of its residents, this week's film celebrates Fountaingrove Lodge, the first of its kind continuing care retirement community, licensed by the state for LGBTQ+ seniors and their allies. The Fair Housing Act still offers no protection based on sexual orientation or gender identity. As a result, elderly LGBTQ+ people are pushed back into the closet when they retire. The Lodge offers a glimpse into what is possible for LGBTQ+ seniors.
